EPF Claim Status available online at www.epfindia.gov.in | .Employee Provident Fund Claim Status

Good News for EPF Members / Subscribers / Pensioners . Have you submitted claim application of your PF in any of the EPFO offices across India? Now you can check your claim status online through internet .Employee Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has launched a new facility to check claim status online. Using this facility one can track the status of a claim already submitted using the PF Account Number.

How to check the claim status ? To check the claim status , please open the following URL Claim Status , then open "Click Here for the status ", Now the following screen appears.



In the screen , Employee PF Account Number has 5 boxes
Ist Box - > Region Code
IInd Box - > Office Code
IIIrd Box - > Establishment Code (7 digits)
IVth Box - > Extension / Sub code of Establishment Code (3 charactes)
Vth Box - > Account number (7 digits)

1. First select the EPF Office from where your claim has to be settled . On selection of office, the Region Code and Office Code which is mandatory will be populated automatically in the respective boxes .
2. Enter the Establishment Code in the third box
3. In case the Establishment Code has an extension / sub code , enter the same in the IV th box
4. Enter account number in the 5th box.
     Now press submit button.
For example ,Chennai is the EPF Office from where your claim has to be settled , you select Chennai from the drop down list as shown in the following screen.

Now enter Establishment code , Sub Code & Account Number and submit . Now following screen sppears. If the number is available , then the status will be displayed . Otherwise No Record found message will be displayed as follows.

The reason for "No Record Found " due to the data might have not been updated because Data is updated since last six months (as on 02.09.2011). Moreover CHENNAI data availaible from 05-03-2011 .
